Editing Update

 

We are nearly done with postproduction. There are a few minor details I wish to tweak before I submit the final cut. I may get rid of the shot where Christy enters the house or at least change the shot after it, so it looks less like a jump cut. There is a possibility that I will find an alternative sound that causes Christy to investigate as I felt compelled to do so earlier, although I do not mind the one we selected as much now. Something I am definitely going to do is fix the colors and shadows in the hallway and bathroom shot to make them look more cohesive with the rest of the opening. Additionally, I plan to mute the graveyard shot audio as I hear a very faint noise that I did not notice before which now bothers me a lot. Other than that, I may experiment with softening the ambient noise when it starts and then gradually increasing the volume right until the end. I do not think it is as necessary as the other edits I mentioned, but I think it would be a nice touch.
